Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Desktop X 3.0 Pro

Does Desktop X come with the  Desktop 2008 upgrade? Until I installed Impulse The desktop X program I used had all of the features of the pro version, exporting gadgets etc. And now  the  only program that is listed on impulse is Desktop X 3.0. If I read the features right that means I've been downgraded not upgraded! Now I am not a constant user  for that matter  I am realitively new 5 years. LOL, haven't tried to create a skin as of yet just been using other peoples ideas. But now that I am in a position where I can take sometime to do what I like, the features that I enjoy and now will need might be disapearing. If this is the case I'd like to know. Anyone's help or veiw would be appreciated.

Did you buy DX Pro?
Could you export gadgets (a *.exe file that did not need DX installed)?
Can you know export as widgets?

There may have been a mistake before that is now corrected.

No , I didn't buy pro that I know of. But the create and export gadgets and desktops were there on my old Stardock central, LOL, like I said until now I really didn't have the time to get to it. But, things have definitely changed some where. My Xp didn't have the space to play around with, so I put it on back burner. It may be that some features may have been taken out of Desktop X when they brought out the Pro version. Just checking to see if I might be forgetful. Thanks any way.
